Ingredients

  • 1 box chewy fudge brownie mix
  • 1 cup quick oats plus more for garnish
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tablespoon of water
  • 1 cup chocolate chips

Instructions

Preparation

  • 1 Preheat oven to 350°F.
  • 2 In a large bowl combine brownie mix, oats, oil, eggs and water; stir with a fork until combined. Dough will be stiff. Stir in chocolate chips.
  • 3 Drop dough by heaping tablespoonfuls, 2 inches apart, onto ungreased cookie sheets.
  • 4 Bake 12 minutes or until just barely set in the center. Cool 1 minute on pans. Transfer to wire racks with a metal spatula and cool completely. Garnish with sprinkle of quick oats if desired.

    Easy fix when you’re not in the mood to start from scratch. Easy to make with kids. Also good with a handful of dried cranberries added. Soak the cranberries if they are dried out, the oatmeal absorbs liquid.

    this is the easiest recipe wow made them in no time and my grandchildren helped me. they were gone very fast too- very tasty and very simple.

    Could you make it any easier? One bowl, one cup(yes I know I used the 1/2 cup twice) and no mixer which is the BEST part if all. I now have a recipe to do with grandchildren on a three day or rainy day yomtov. Before I forget YUM!!!!!!
