You can’t really make this on the stove, if you want to do something on the stove, you are better off with Potato Latkes.

Sounds wonderful, but have recently been diagnosed with Sugar Diabetes, and cannot have potatoes, especially something made with the starch. Please see what kind of anti sugar and starch you have, and put some anti diabetic receipes out> thanks, Lillie Greathouse

We have many other kugels that are a great option for a diabetic or anyone wishing to eat a bit lighter. Try these Cauliflower Kugel Bites http://www.joyofkosher.com/recipes/cauliflower-kugel-bites/ or these Spinach and Artichoke Kugels – http://www.joyofkosher.com/recipes/mini-spinach-and-artichoke-kugels/

this is by far the best potato kugel recipe i have ever used. everyone loves it. to dress it up a bit when i make it for a kiddush or event, i take an onion and slice full rings and scatter them over the top before baking.
