This is my famous Duck Sauce Chicken. I’ve literally gotten calls and numerous requests for the exact “recipe.” It was the first chicken dish I learned how to cook, under the tutelage of that great chef I married. This is undoubtedly my hubby’s favorite chicken. Although I’ve spent hours mastering fancier poultry dishes, somehow we always come back to good ol’ Duck Sauce Chicken. If it weren’t so quick and easy, Hubby would have to find a new favorite.

Sorry for the delay. Did you add them?

I’m so excited to find this recipe. My mother always made it with “Saucy Susan” duck sauce, which is apparently available from Amazon, and it was one of my favorite dishes when I was growing up.
We live in the north of Israel and have not seen any version of duck sauce in the supers. The yad mordechai brand has some sauces, like plum sauce for chicken and I think mango as well. Would any of those be a substitute?
Sorry just seeing this now. I think something like peach or apricot preserves will be a closer sub.
