Finding the Light: A Walk with Violin Virtuoso Ariella Zeitlin

You are in for a treat this week! I ran into the radiant Ariella Zeitlin, a virtuoso violinist and singer whose music is literally filled with light. You can watch our conversation and walk through the Old City right here—and trust me, you’ll want to stick around for the blessing at the end!

Ariella is someone who spent her teen years practicing the violin for six hours a day, dreaming of Juilliard. But at 18, she made a brave choice that changed everything: she moved to Israel all on her own. She told me that the moment she arrived, it was like a “click” her soul had been searching for.

One Brave Moment at a Time

As we grabbed a coffee and wandered through the ancient alleyways, Ariella opened up about so much more than just music. We got “real” about the ups and downs of the journey, including:

  • The Voice Israel: What surprised her most about being in the spotlight on a major reality show.
  • Choosing Freedom: Her powerful journey to sobriety and how she learned to choose life and health again and again.
  • The Shift from Within: Why she believes nothing external is going to “save” you—it all has to start from the inside.
  • Kumi Ori (Rise Up Light): The beautiful story behind her album and how she uses music to connect spirituality with manifestation.

A Blessing from the Rooftop

We ended our walk where every Jamie in the Rova journey leads—on the rooftop of the Aish Dan Family World Center. Overlooking the Kotel, Ariella shared a blessing that was so deep and so personal. If you’ve ever felt “held back” or “stuck” in your own life, her words are exactly what you need to hear.

Ariella is a true master of her craft, managing a global career while staying deeply connected to her roots and her truth. She reminds us all that even when our dreams shift, something even more beautiful can grow in their place.

Let’s Rise Up Together

I left this conversation feeling so uplifted, and I know you will too. This one is for the soul to remember that we can always start fresh, one brave moment at a time.
