Redemption, Recovery, and the Courage to Come Home: No Reservations with ariella Zeitlin

I have a treat for you today. Usually, when we think of a virtuoso violinist, we imagine someone distant, maybe a bit formal. But sitting across from Ariella Zeitlin at the No Reservations table, I found a woman who is as vibrant, raw, and electric as the music she plays.

Ariella is a world-class violinist and singer, but her journey to the rooftop of the Aish World Center wasn’t a straight line. It’s a story of high-stakes dreams, crushing pressure, and the ultimate courage to choose a life that is authentically hers.

Watch my unfiltered conversation with Ariella Zeitlin here

The Click of the Soul

Imagine being a teenage prodigy, practicing six hours a day with your sights set on Juilliard, only to realize that the “perfect” path isn’t the one your soul is calling for. At 18, Ariella made the life-changing choice to move to Israel alone. She told me that the moment she arrived, it was the “click” she had been searching for her entire life.

We sat overlooking the Kotel and dove into the chapters of her life that the spotlight doesn’t always see:

  • The Voice Israel: What it was really like to be a “symbol” on a national stage and the surprises that came with reality TV fame.
  • The Journey to Freedom: Ariella opened up with incredible honesty about her path to sobriety and how she learned to choose health and freedom every single day.
  • Kumi Ori (Rise Up Light): The spiritual meaning behind her music and how she uses her violin to connect heaven and earth.

From Prodigy to Purpose

What I love about Ariella is that she doesn’t perform her strength—she lives it. She’s a “high pilot light” of energy, balancing a global music career with a deep commitment to her values and her family.

Deli Roll

Deli Roll

I never heard of deli rolls until I hit the kosher Shabbos scene. It was apparent that …

She reminded me that “nothing external is going to save you… it has to start from within.” It’s a powerful lesson for all of us: we can’t wait for the world to give us permission to be happy. We have to choose it for ourselves, one brave moment at a time.

Let’s Sit at the Table Together

Ariella’s music is beautiful, but her spirit is what truly resonates. She ended our time together with a blessing for anyone who feels “stuck” or “held back,” and I promise you, it’s exactly what you need to hear today.

I want to hear from you: Ariella spoke about that “click” when she finally found where she belonged. Have you ever had a moment where you realized you were exactly where you were supposed to be?
