Spiced Chicken & Lentil Soup with Garlic Toast

SPICED CHICKEN AND LENTIL SOUP

Warm yourself and your family up with these recipes for hearty soup.  These soups are rich enough to be a one pot meal with some nice crusty bread on the side.  Try them all, it is a long Winter ahead.

Pair up chicken and okra to make this New Orlean’s style Chicken Gumbo.  Not your regular chicken soup and much heartier.

It is very hard to get a great French Onion Soup unless you make it yourself.  What are you waiting for? Here’s our Quick & Kosher Recipe.

Sort of like an Italian Wedding Soup, this soup has little meatballs made from ground chicken and fresh greens mixed in.  Serve as is or with a side of steaming hot rice.  Get the recipe here.

    For years I have been making a variation of vegetable soup with meat bones for the sukkah, with the comment that they could be a meal in and of themselves. In the sukkah they provide a warming welcome to any meal.

    You got me! I LOVE soup and don’t know which one of these to try first. Probably the chicken meatball and escarole. Or maybe the Onion soup. They all looks so delicious.
