Matzo is a key ingredient in the celebration of Passover. But beyond the matzo we eat at the Seder table, matzo is a versatile pantry ingredient that can be used in multiple ways and recipe preparations…from sweet (matzo brei, granola) to savory (lasagna, fried chicken) to in between (french toast).
Matzo doesn’t have to get old and boring even if you eat it for 8 days straight. We have tons of unique ways to use and love matzo, after all you bought 5 pounds of it, didn’t you?
How do you love matzo? Let us know your favorite ways to cook and eat matzo on Passover.
I know there are many who are happy to eat it with salted butter, whipped cream cheese, chocolate spread, jelly or whatever they have eaten since their first Passover, but we also like to mix things up a little, check it out.

So Many Ways To Love Matzo
Even if you love your buttered matzo, you also want to try these delicious recipes that show all that matzo can do. Note that these recipes are only showing off using whole matzos or broken in large pieces, not matzo meal or ground matzo which we all know make amazing matzo balls and serve as the perfect bread cr umbs (did you see our matzo fried chicken recipe?)

It’s BREI. Brie is the cheese. Brei is the matzo dish.
I have SO much schmura matzah due to a delivery service that massacred my first box. What can I make with this type of matzah? Is it interchangeable with regular boxed matzah?
For the most part it is interchangeable, but I find it is a bit drier so if you make something that needs to be soaked you might need to soak it longer. In my house we prefer Shmura the handmade round kind to make pizza, because it stays crispier and I think we like that is looks like a real round pizza.
