You all know I am all about healthy eating.  Sure, I have the degree (I am a Dietitian), but more importantly, I crave healthy food.  I feel bad when I eat junk and so over time I naturally prefer a diet loaded with all the foods we dietitians recommend.  Whole grains, lots of fruits and vegetables, leaner proteins, dark chocolate.

I'm not saying I don't like a splurge on hot, crispy french fries once in a while, but overall, I feel better when I eat better and so I naturally am drawn to those foods that make me feel good.  So in the Summer especially I love a great big salad, you know, the kind of salad that eats like a meal.  It allows me to spend my time eating a large plate of food for very little calories and lots of nutrients.
